Choco's Care Tips

Hi, I'm Choco — and if there's one thing I know, it's how to keep tails wagging and outfits looking fresh. Here's how to care for your C&F gear so it stays as stylish and sturdy as the day it arrived.

Section 01

General Care

    Hand wash preferred. While most items are machine washable, a gentle hand wash in cold water gives the best quality and longest life.

    Machine? Delicate only. If using a washing machine, always choose a delicate cycle with cold water — no exceptions.

    Mild detergent only. Harsh chemicals, bleach, or fabric softeners are not welcome here — they'll damage fibres and dull colours fast.

    Air dry always. Do not tumble dry. Lay flat or hang in the shade to keep everything in perfect shape.

Section 02

Hardware & Details

  • 01
    No iron on hardware. Avoid ironing directly over buckles, D-rings, or any decorative metal or plastic elements.
  • 02
    Faux-leather & suede care. Wipe gently with a damp cloth and dry immediately — no soaking, no scrubbing.
  • 03
    Regular gear checks. Give everything a look-over periodically — tighten buckles, inspect D-rings, and replace any hardware that shows wear.

  • 01
    Wash inside-out. Always turn garments inside-out before washing to protect prints, embroidery, and patterns.

    Cold water + mild detergent. The winning combo for keeping colours bright and fabrics soft wash after wash.

    Hand washing is paw-fect. The gentlest method for keeping garments looking their very best, longest.

Sizing & Fit

How to measure your pup

Measure the neck

Wrap a soft tape measure around the base of your pup's neck — where a collar would naturally sit. Keep two fingers between the tape and neck for comfort.

Measure the chest (girth)

Measure around the widest part of the chest — just behind the front legs. This is the most important measurement for harnesses and jackets.

Between sizes? Size up.

If your pup sits between two sizes, always go bigger for comfort. As Choco says — better a comfy wiggle than a tight squeeze!
